Accreditation
The institutional effectiveness team hosts quarterly meetings of the UT System Accreditation Network (UTSAN), a forum for inter-campus collaboration and sharing best practices in institutional accreditation.
What is institutional accreditation?
Accreditation is a peer-review process by which institutions of higher education evaluate and enhance quality and effectiveness via the attainment of minimum standards. The U.S. Department of Education recognizes seven accrediting commissions operating in six independent regions.
